Following our recent refurbishment, Room 5 now offer an en=suite bedroom with a separate lounge.  Located on the second floor and to the front of the property (no lift is available), offers you a choice of Two King Single Beds or a Super King Bed – please let us know your preference at the time of booking. This is our most recently refurbished room which now offers 28.5 square meters of space with a separate lounge with a three seater sofa, chair – ideal for reading – and a fireplace created to offer serenity and calm after a day of exploring.  Positioned to the front of the property and with the traditional Victorian high ceilings and sash windows, this rooms is flooded with afternoon/evening light and offers a bright & airy feel yet offering the comforts of a cosy fire for those chillier days.

Facilities include a LED Smart TV’s, mini fridges with fresh milk & complimentary Harrogate Spa mineral waters, fully stocked hospitality tray with with Kettle and Nescafe Dolce Gusto Coffee Machine along with our fresh home-made biscuits and Taylor’s of Harrogate Teas. Deluxe Egyptian Cotton Bed Linen & Towels are provided along with a towelling bath robes & slippers. A hair dryer, iron & ironing board, complimentary Toiletries from H2K of Harrogate and free WIFI access throughout the property and also provided for you.

No. 21 York is situated in a beautiful conservation area of St.Mary’s, York and our home is almost two centuries old. Thankfully every effort has been taken to preserve its original character. Many of our rooms feature grand high ceilings and original cornicing – with the odd creaky floorboard too!

Due to our historic and conservation status we do not have a lift, so if you can’t manage stairs easily – there is a set of seven steps leading up to the Front Entrance from the road and a magnificent staircase to the upper floors – please do ask us in advance for a room on a lower floor (we are always available to help with luggage). Given our central location on a quiet cul-de-sac in the heart of York, please also note that room sizes can be smaller than you might be used to in out-of-town locations.
